Learn To
Ride
LTR ( Learn To Ride) is specifically
designed for beginners. Slightly curved edges ,
specifically shaped noses, and lighter flex.
Essentially this means more forgiving than traditional flat
bottomed boards. It will give you the chance to spend more
time gaining your skills needed when
on your feet and less time
picking yourself up off the field. Once you are happy with
this progress and are joining your toe-side to heel-side
turns we recommend you step up to the cruzer range listed
below.
Our LTR range is split into
LTR Kids (a special small size
range for infants to young children)
LTR Lite Recommended for ladies
with smaller feet and children
LTR Specifically designed for the
in-experienced rider.
Cruzer
Cruzer
Models are our rental specific fleet without
looking like a bunch of rental boards.
They feature a tapered bottom shape that enables easier
turning than a standard snowboard (In all conditions from
Powder to icepack).
Unlike conventional
snowboards Cruzers also have
a convex base shape that enables
(a) simple steering
(often difficult on narrow cat tracks) and
(b) easier stopping.
Why spend your first week in the Alps on the backside
slope, take in the view whilst you learn the ropes.
A cruzer
will enable you to steer and
stop safely in all terrain at a very beginner level,
unlike a traditional flat-bottomed standard rental boards.
